The Summer Style Trend Every Mom Needs

The only maternity clothes I wore when I was pregnant with Ava were PinkBlush and man, was I in love. Cute, comfortable and the best part, they can be worn even after maternity. Yes, I still wear those cute maternity clothes today...and I am not pregnant.  Thank goodness they have a women's shop as well because PinkBlush's trendy online boutique is cute, affordable and is totally, spot on with my mom style. 

You see, it took me a while to figure out my mom style (as I've written about before) and now that it's almost summer, jeans in 85-90 degree weather just isn't an option for me. Before Ava came along, I would be pulling out all of my short, A-line flowy dresses right about now but I've recently discovered that when you're chasing around a toddler and constantly bending over to pick her up,  short dresses just won't do, if you know what I mean.

And so, my summer mom style is all about maxi dresses. Every mom needs to fill her wardrobe with maxis and here is why:

1. You don't have to worry about flashing anyone while chasing around your kids.
2. They make you look like you've showered and actually gotten dressed when in fact, you haven't showered in two days.
3. No more decisions on what outfit to wear -- It's one and done and that, right there, is a time saver. If you're anything like me, trying on 15 outfit combos is pretty typical and no mom has time for that.
4. Of course, they're beautiful, they're cute and they're fabulous
