Baby Shower for Baby Boy

We threw a little baby shower for my best friend having her fourth baby in a few months. It was sweet and simple but there were some really cute baby shower ideas (and some fun and easy baby shower games!) that we did for our party. And yes, I am all for celebrating every baby, no matter if it’s your first or your fifth. Gifts are fun and we each brought something she needed but I’ll take any reason to host a party!

I do have to give Ava (my 9-year-old) credit for that cute baby outfit decor. She saw something on Amazon that was similar to this but with just cut-outs of baby clothes and I thought it was the cutest thing! But real baby clothes are better in my opinion and it was so much fun picking out baby clothes since it’s been years since I’ve gotten to do that. We stuck to the colors of the party - tans, whites, greens and browns - but oh my gosh how cute would little floral summer outfits be for a baby girl summer baby shower?! And maybe even have guests each bring an outfit to hang and gift? Just some fun little ideas to get everyone involved.

We played some very simple baby shower games and they were quick and easy and perfect for parties that you’re keeping on the simpler side. Well, I guess they would be great baby shower games for any party (linked the supplies at the top):

We had a mimosa station, a bloody mary bar, a balloon arch for photos, some snacks and cupcakes and it was the perfect party to celebrate baby boy coming so soon!
