Apr 21 LMSS x Jenn Hallak Collection

We’ve been working on something for the past few months (eek!) and I finally get to spill the beans —

We are launching not one but TWO collections with Little Mama Shirt Shop next week!! And oh my goodness they turned out so darn perfect - I hope you all love these as much as I do!

The first design — You Are Beyond Magic

Motherhood on social media is often portrayed so negatively and I’ve seen so many people say they aren’t sure they want to be moms anymore because of this. And this breaks my freaking heart. Yes, motherhood is hard but it’s the most beautiful, magical most amazing, incredible thing I’ve ever done and I want everyone who wants that to be able to experience it. Truly.

So not only did I want to bring out the magic of motherhood in this first design, but I want every single baby, child and mother on this Earth to know how magical they truly are. And that was the inspiration behind this first design. Not only are you magic, but you are beyond magic.

And the second design — fun and vibrant!

When Chynna (the owner of Little Mama Shirt Shop) and I were first bouncing off design ideas, she asked me “Are there any fun nicknames you have for your kids that may be cute?” My reply — “Ummm, not really. We say ‘hey sweet girl’ to Ava all the time but as far as nicknames that aren’t specific to their names, nope.” And that’s where the idea came from! I wanted vibrant colors, something fun for the summer, I envisioned pairing these tanks with neon tank tops (but also including a fun tee in there for the moms who aren’t tank fans) and then having them “match-ish” with the kids tank tops too but in a unique way… not identically twinning. Because you know that twinning is our thing but we made a fun spin on that!

We’ve got kids tank tops for the summer, baby tank rompers, neon tank tops and tees for the moms, those beautiful baby onesies and kids tee shirts and truly, I poured my heart and soul into creating pieces with meaning but also making sure there was something in there for everyone.
