The big boys’ room reveal is finally here! Ahhhh I want to shout it from the rooftops because I love love love how it all turned out. And the transformation was truly incredible!! We started planning this months back and as I continued to order items and bring it all together, it came together more perfectly than I could ever have imagined it.

And best of all? The love it.

Before we did their room, they never spent any time in there. Sleep only. They never played (although we didn’t keep toys in there) and didn’t have a desire to spend any time in their room and I just love how all of the kids bring toys in there now, play with the toys that are in there and they just truly love their space. And that’s all I wanted for them - a cozy room that would grow with them as they get older.

We went with trundle beds for both of them (hello sibling sleepovers! and they’ve already done a couple grandparent sleepovers too) so technically there are four beds in there. We have a trundle in Ava’s room and have loved it for years so I knew that’s exactly what we wanted for them too!

We chose neutral, calming colors but some accents to make it fun for them, like the glow in the dark dinosaur sheets, the framed photos they picked out themselves (how cute are their little silly faces!) and of course all of the fun stuff in there like their kids play kitchen, their foam play blocks and that big bean bag chair for bed time stories.
