11 Bump-Friendly One Piece Swimsuits
Last week I did a round-up of bump-friendly bikinis and for those of you who aren’t pregnant, they’re all non-maternity so will work for you too! And this week, I decided to do a review of some bump-friendly one-piece swimsuits, all non-maternity too. I’ve got sizing and fabric details on here, my take on each of them and the ones that didn’t work too well on the bump too ;) So whether or not you’re pregnant, here are some cute one piece swimsuit styles ranging from modest swimsuits to a little more sexy one piece swimsuit styles, that first neon pink one being my favorite (to my surprise).
They’re all from Amazon, all very affordable and they’re all linked here for you too!
Bump-Friendly One Piece Swimsuits
So I pulled this neon pink one piece out and thought for sure I would hate it. It seemed a little to “stringy” for me and I typically prefer more modest swimsuits but it sure blew me away and it turns out, it’s my favorite of the whole try on! There’s coverage in the front with a stringy back making that back super cute!! I’d 100% size up one size for height and two sizes up if you’re pregnant. I am wearing a large here and typically I’m a size small. It holds my boobs in nicely, the neon pink is amazing (they have other colors too) and did I mention that amazing back??
This one I was a little nervous wouldn’t work well with the bump because of the cut out but it turns out, the cut-out is small enough that it totally works! I’m wearing a size large here and without a bump would still recommend sizing up one size for height (I’m 5’8”). It’s not cheeky at all, the leg holes are cut a little low on my hips for my personal taste, the material is nice and thick and they’ve got plenty of color options available too!
This color block one piece is definitely on the more modest side and based on where those seams are, I feel like it would be super flatting on someone’s waist who wasn’t pregnant (but still works just fine with the bump!). I’d recommend sizing up one size for height and 2 sizes up for a bump, it’s not cheeky at all and has great full coverage but still is super cute, in my opinion.
This is another favorite of mine, probably because of the cute back and those ruffles! This one has some of the most gorgeous colors (the blue isn’t showing up well here so check the listing for the true color), it’s not cheeky at all but shows some skin in the back and front and I’d say it’s just enough modest yet sexy. This is by far one of the most flattering and comfortable suits I purchased and I feel like it totally flatters that baby bump but would look amazing on someone who isn’t pregnant too. I’d recommend sticking to your normal size on this one but sizing up only one size for a bump since it’s got good stretch.
This one wasn’t a favorite for me personally but of course I wanted to show it since we all have different likes and dislikes and it may be a favorite for some of you! This totally flatters the bump because of where the seam is and would be extremely flattering on a waistline too. It’s not cheeky at all, has removable pads and the straps can tighten. And lastly, I’d recommend sizing up one size if you’re pregnant but keep it at your normal size if you’re not.
I absolutely LOVE the style of this black suit - so darn flattering, don’t you think? It comes in lots of color options and those sheer details and the straps are just beautiful. I’m wearing 2 sizes up from my typical size and even at 19 weeks pregnant with a fairly small bump, it’s tight. There’s no way this would make it much further in my pregnancy so I’m going to have to say that this one is not bump-friendly unless you’re wearing it very early on in pregnancy. You can definitely make it work if you really love it but you’d have to size up quite a bit if you’re further along. I think anyone could go up one size for height and possible even 2 even if you’re not pregnant. It’s not cheeky at all and really is a beautiful one-piece swimsuit.
I absolutely love color block swimsuits but I also love neutral colors so this was the perfect combo for me! I’d recommend sizing up only one size for the bump but keep it at your normal size if you aren’t pregnant - plenty of height and stretch on this one! The fabric texture is gorgeous, they’ve got other color options, it’s got removable pads and that one should detail is so fun!
This one is 100% absolutely positively not bump-friendly, as you can see by that front shot. But if you’re not pregnant, this one is so cute!! I love that the cut-out is larger so you can have the best of both worlds — modest one-piece swimsuit while showing a little extra skin! I’d recommend sizing up 1-2 sizes for height as it doesn’t have much stretch and they’ve got tons of color combo options to choose from too!
This one is definitely the most modest of them all and wasn’t really my style but of course, still wanted to show you in case it’s your style. I love the sheer details in the front and back, the back is super cute but still has full coverage all over, the color is absolutely beautiful (they’ve got lots of color options available) and I’d recommend sizing up just one size if pregnant but keep your true size if you’re not.
This one is fun with the front and back details (honestly that back is amazing!!) but I just didn’t feel like it was as flattering as the other ones on the bump. Just a personal opinion, of course. I’d recommend sizing up 2 sizes if you’re pregnant and one for height if you’re not. It’s not cheeky at all either and that seems to be a common trend on these one-piece swimsuits. The ribbed fabric is so pretty and they’ve got beautiful color options available too!
And this last one is definitely a favorite of mine too! The color options are gorgeous (these photos don’t do it justice), it’s stretchy and the fabric is soft and that cutout hits just perfectly right over the bump, making it the perfect bump-friendly one-piece but also would be amazing for those of you who aren’t pregnant. This is 2 sizes up from my normal size but I think one size up would have been totally fine — normal size not pregnant too!
