Nursery Accent Wall | Blue-Gray Paint Colors
We have had a heck of a time coming up with nursery paint colors. Or let me re-phrase… I’m extremely picky when it comes to accent wall colors for the nursery and since I’ve got a color in my head that I want and love (a color my brain made up on its own) and I cannot fathom not finding that exactly color, we’ve gone back far too many time for new sample colors. And still, I want more but at this point, we’re just going to choose and call it a day.
If you’re looking for a grey with a hint of blue-green paint color, then I’ve got ya covered with lots of samples. These photos are not-edited and in natural light so you can get a clear picture of the colors.

So then beyond just finding that perfect grey-green-blue paint color, the closet doors in that room are a grey paint color - Gray Matters by Sherwin Williams. So making sure the grey accent wall color isn’t too close to that one has thrown quite the loophole into this big decision.
We got all of our supplies to turn this white wall into a grey board and batten accent wall and then after that’s all up and ready to go, we will make that final decision on an nursery accent wall paint color. We’re beginners at DIY board and batten but I got all material recommendations and step-by-step DIY board and batten instructions from my friend Jacki who happens to be a DIY mom blogger. So I’ll take you along the ride as soon as we start on this project and get the room prepped for nursery furniture and decor! Here’s our baby boy nursery inspo if you want to see the look we’re going for… links to everything we ordered are on that post too!
