I've been to Disneyland many times in my life and up until our trip yesterday, there were three Disneyland secrets we had never discovered before. For all of the Disneyland pass holders out there, these may not even be secrets but I was pretty excited about them, not gonna lie. So if they are actually well known Disney facts, just don't burst my bubble, okay?

1. Hidden shaded tables + no waiting in line for food.

It was 93 degrees yesterday and shaded seating was a hot commodity (no pun intended) so finding secret shaded seating at Disneyland was pretty freaking amazing.

I've passed it so many times and never looked into what it was but yesterday we were headed from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride toward Main Street and on the right hand side right past the Jungle Cruise, is this big Aladdin structure.

Apparently 10 years ago they used to have shows there but now it's just a place to eat. They've got 3 meal options for adults and 3 options for kids. You order and pay at the front, head on in, find a shady table (yep, so much free shade) and they bring your food and drinks over within about 3 minutes. So it looks just like cafeteria food but I'm not gonna lie, the Lasagna Bolognese was pretty freakin' delicious.

The shade was amazing + there was no wait whatsoever. And Disney was super crowded yesterday too because of grad night so I assume you can take advantage of this any day of the week.

2. Free VIP tickets to the Disney Electrical Parade.

You know the Aladdin meals I talked about above? Well they come with VIP tickets to the Disney Electrical Parade. We didn't take advantage of it last night since we wanted to squeeze a couple of rides in but apparently there's a front row space for us near the castle to see the light parade VIP + of course that's a pretty cool added bonus. All you have to do is buy your meal and they give you a VIP space for free!

3. Donuts...need I say more.

If you're making your way out of Frontierland and heading to the castle, there's a cart on your way with the most delicious donuts. How have I never discovered this before? If you're facing the Castle, it's to the left hand side on the outside of that circular center area at the end of Main Street near the Castle.

I got the chocolate with Reese's and Butterfinger on top (and it was as amazing as it sounds) and they also had a bacon maple donut there too. And the option for coffee (iced or hot) was a fabulous compliment to our donuts without having to wait in that crazy Starbucks line.
