I’m beginning to see a tread with these weekly bumpdates because today, I’m actually 22 weeks pregnant but I guess one day past due isn’t so bad for an [almost] mama of two?

This week at 21 weeks pregnant was pretty dang fun. We had our entire family all down here in Southern California and we were all together for the first time in forever - my dad and all three sisters! We went to the beach (it was in the 90s this weekend), we ate a whole lot, we laughed, we snuggled, Auntie Becca felt baby boy kick and we even took an impromptu day trip to Disneyland! Ava loves her aunties and Grandpa so so much and my goodness, I couldn’t be happier to see them all with her. And now we have two entire months until we’re back all together for Christmas and I cannot WAIT!

So this week I feel like my belly grew like double. Seriously. I looked up a photo of myself at 39 weeks pregnant with Ava (my final bumpdate with her) and I swear, I’m the same size now as I was then. Click here if you want to see those photos to compare!

And then this week my body has been pretty achey — my upper back is just killing me some days and one night I tossed and turned all night long from the pain. You’d think it would be my lower back so who knows what’s going on in there but hey, at least that little babe will be all worth every single ache and every single pain —

I just know it.
